Metroparent won five awards on April 16 at the annual editorial and design competition from the Parenting Media Association, the international trade organization of regional parenting publications.
Based on circulation, Metroparent competes with the largest parenting publications in the country, including Chicago Parent, LA Parent, Metroparent Detroit, Dallas Child and several New York City parenting publications.

Best column: 'Tweens + Teens by Maureen Connors Badding
Metroparent also won a Silver Award for a three-part series on postpartum mooddisorders, which can be view online at metroparentmagazine.com/ppd.
And Metroparent won a Silver Award for the design of its books page.
