Parents throughout Southeastern Wisconsin know how great classes at the Milwaukee County Zoo are. In fact, they are so well-aware of that fact that they know the importance of signing up right away; they fill up fast!
Registration is open November 10 for classes that take place February through May. The zoo offers stroller safaris for the littlest visitors (infant-24 months with an adult), parent-child classes for 2 and 3-year olds, and more independent classes for kids through age 14. There's also the chance for whole families to take classes, and even for adults to take a bird photography class.
This spring's offerings include classes that focus on specific animals such as seals, elephants and lions, as well as classes centered around broader themes like learning to be a veterinarian, animals that live underground, and even a zoo art club.
Go to the Zoological Society's website for more information and to register for classes.
