First Stage Theater is set to open its 30th anniversary season with "Goosebumps the Musical: Phantom of the Auditorium." The musical, which is based on R.L Stine's wildly famous "Goosebumps" book series, follows two characters who are starring in a play about a phantom, and then they start wondering if the phantom is real!

The play is described as silly, spooky and suspenseful, and is the perfect fall family excursion for parents and their kids ages 7-16.

The musical opens October 14 and runs through November 13 at the Marcus Center's Todd Wehr Theater at 929 N. Water St. Tickets start at $15, and can be ordered by calling 414-273-7206 or visiting firststage.org/goosebumps.
