The Milwaukee Bucks are hosting a summer block party Saturday and will officially break ground on the new arena in downtown Milwaukee.
The free, family-friendly event will run from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and feature music, vendors, kids' games and activities and appearances by both current and former players.
The groundbreaking ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. on the corner of Fourth Street and Juneau Avenue. The block party will take place on Fourth Street to McKinley Avenue and on Juneau Avenue between Fifth and Old World Third streets.
Fans also will be able to sign one of the first foundation piles for the new arena and take photos on the groundbreaking site.
Fans are asked to park in the BMO Harris Bradley Center parking structure or in the parking ramp on Fourth Street and Highland Avenue.
