Do you and your kids need a vacation from your digital devices? Well, it's Screen-Free Week, seven days devoted to turning off all digital entertainment and focusing on playing, reading, creating, exploring and spending time with family and friends.

Created by the Campaign for a Commerical-Free Childhood, the week encourages parents, children and others to reduce their dependency on screen media, regardless of whether children are consumers of 'good' or 'bad' programming.

Adults can take a pledge online at screenfree.org for themselves and their kids to consumer no screen media from May 2 through May 8.

So, what will you do with all of this time once consumed by electronics?
