Maggiano's Family Kite Festival

See the launch of 500 kites this weekend as part of the 29th annual Maggiano's Family Kite Festival at Veterans Park. The two-day event also features kite wranglers, including The Windjammers and Chicago Fire. Hosted by Gift of Wings, the free event runs from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday along Milwaukee's lakefront.
