Four new interactive experiences for kids and families will greet visitors to U.S. Cellular Power Playground Kids' Area at Miller Park this season.
The first three experiences are hitting and throwing games: "Mow 'Em Down," "Strike Zone" and "Batter Up."
The fourth new experience allows kids to have their picture tekn in a replica Brewers dugout. Fans will be able to virtually place Brewers players and mascots in their images, which can then be shared on social media.
The U.S. Cellular Power Playground Kids' Area is located on the Field Level along the right-field line.
"At U.S. Cellular, we are committed to bringing families and friends together in the communities we serve, and the upgrades to the U.S. Cellular Power Playground Kids’ Area at Miller Park will help us further that goal," said Rebecca Kruse, senior manager of sponsorship and events. "We’re excited about starting our ninth year as a sponsor of the Brewers and look forward to the upcoming season."
Other new or revamped offerings at Miller Park this year are the remodeled Home Plate Team Store and the Meijer-sponsored Brewers Treat Truck, which will visit Milwaukee-area neighborhoods, special events and more throughout the summer and hand out FREE ICE CREAM!
“We have had a great partnership with the Milwaukee Brewers the past two seasons, and are very excited to watch it grow by sponsoring the Treat Truck, and supplying it with ice cream from Meijer,” said Cathy Cooper, senior director of community partnerships and giving for Meijer. “This is another fun way to connect with the Milwaukee community.”
Also, all kids ages 14 and younger will receive a voucher for a free meal every Sunday home game. The meal includes a hot dog, apple slices and a bottle of water.
New food items available at various concession stands throughout Miller Park include a banh mi brat, jalapeno popper dog, buffalochicken fries and the Klement's Famous RAcing Sausages chili baked potato topper.
Opening Day is Monday, April 4 wehn the Brewers take on the San Francisco Giants at 1:10 p.m.
