The Milwaukee area has many great restaurants to choose from for Easter Brunch on April 16. Here are a few that we think are especially good for kids:

Boerner Botanical Gardens

9400 Boerner Dr., Hales Corners

(414) 409-3959, boernerbotanicalgardens.orgboernerrestaurant.com

We picked this one because there is also a Family Easter Event going on from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. where the kids can meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy crafts and activities.

Provided by Zilli Hospitality Group, the brunch menu features made to order omelets, several breakfast options, carved ham and tons of dessert options. Also, although children are welcome to have anything on the buffet, there are a few extra-special kid-friendly options too – like mac and cheese and chicken tenders. It's $36.95 for adults and $21.95 for children 12 and younger. Ages 3 and younger are FREE.

Hubbard Park Lodge

3565 N. Morris Blvd., Shorewood.

(414) 332-4207, hubbardlodge.com

The location along the Milwaukee River makes this a great place for brunch and a stroll after you fill your belly!

Menu includes pancakes, omelet bar, smoked Lake Trout, herb roasted turkey, glazed ham and more. It's $26.95 for adults and $11.95 for ages 12 and younger. Free for ages 2 and younger. Served from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Milwaukee Art Museum

700 N. Art Museum Dr., Milwaukee

(414) 224-3200, mam.org

Bring the kids to see the Easter Bunny and enjoy breakfast favorites with a few twists like sea salt caramel French toast, maple smoked bacon and sausage, mini cupcakes and fruit tarts and more in Windhover Hall. Served from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., it’s FREE for kids 6 and younger. It's $15 for kids 7-12 and $65 for 13 and older.

Saz’s State House Restaurant

55th & State, Milwaukee

(414) 453-2410, sazs.com

There’s a pretty extensive kids menu at this buffet, including chicken tenders, mini beef franks, fries, and yummy desserts like dirt cups and butter cookies. Of course the grown-ups aren’t left out, as the brunch includes traditional breakfast offerings as well as Saz’s favorites like ribs and chicken. $29.50 for adults, $11.50 for kids ages 5-12. Seatings from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Sazama's Fine Catering at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts

929 N. Water St., Milwaukee

Enjoy views of the Milwaukee River and buffet as well as prepared items that can be ordered directly from the chef. Plus, there’s Easter candy for the kids and complimentary parking.
