There's always plenty of fun to be had with the kids in Milwaukee. Here are a few of our favorites for this weekend:

1. Free admission to the Milwaukee Public Museum

The Greater Milwaukee Foundation has declared Saturday, August 12 to be its Gifts to the Community day. Everyone will receive free admission to the Milwaukee Public Museum from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

2. Humboldt Park Bocce Fest 

The festival features live music, kids games, food and drinks.
Humboldt Park, 3000 S. Howell Ave., Milwaukee
Saturday, August 12, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

3. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Back-to-School Fest

Prepare and celebrate the beginning of the school year with this festival on Saturday, August 12. There will be free hot dogs, free school supplies and live music to dance to.

King Park, 1531 W. Vliet St., 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
