The Milwaukee Art Museum prides itself on having great hands-on activities for kids to do.
In the Kohl's Art Generation Gallery, kids are given the opportunity to create their own artworks. "Paper Play: Kindergarten to Contemporary Art" is in the gallery from now through the middle of July, and allows kids to play with one of the first art supplies small children are usually given -- paper.
There are three different hands-on activity stations where kids are encouraged to make their own weaving, a mysterious scene and a sculpture. They'll also be able to learn about how grown-up artists use paper to make their own creations -- by folding, weaving, cutting and stacking.
