Southeastern Wisconsin is bursting with farms and orchards and places at which families can enjoy some harvest time together! Here are a few spots for picking apples or pumpkins, taking a hay ride or finding your way through a corn maze. If you know of another, let us know at email@example.com, so we can add it to the list.

Apple Barn Orchard & Winery

Pick your own apples, pears and pumpkins. Petting zoo, corn maze, mini-train ride and pony rides. Build you own caramel apples on weekends. Open daily

Pick your own apples and get pre-picked pumpkins, apple cider, honey, home-tapped maple syrup, squash and gourds. Open daily through November. Call first.

Come for fresh picked apples or pick your own. Cider, caramel apples, queen’s apple (sundae), gifts, pumpkins. Open daily.
Barthel Fruit Farm
12246 N. Farmdale Rd. 99W, Mequon
Sun ripened, farm fresh apples, pears, plums and pumpkins. Pick your own and pre-picked. Mon.–Fri. 9 a.m.–6 p.m., Sat.–Sun. 10 a.m.–5 p.m. through Halloween.
Basse’s Country Delight

Pick your own pumpkins and enjoy the Haunted Woods, corn maze, caramel apples, corn stalks and more. Weekends until Halloween. 1–5 p.m.
Bear Den Zoo, Petting Farm and Haunted Farm
6831 Big Bend Rd. (Hwy 164), Waterford
Pick a pumpkin from the patch and go on a hayride. Weekends 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Haunted Woods 7–11 p.m. weekends. Call for weekday tours.
Borzynski’s Farm & Floral Market
11600 Washington Ave., Mt. Pleasant
Weekend hayrides, pumpkin picking, petting zoo, “veggie” maze and 8-acre corn maze. Flashlight Nights in the maze until 10 p.m. on Saturdays through October. Market open daily.
Brehmer’s U-Pick Pumpkins
5805 Clover Rd., Hartford
Pumpkin patch, painted pumpkins, sweet corn and fall decorations. Weekends through October.
Cozy Nook Farm

Pumpkins of all sizes, Indian corn, gourds, squash and corn stalks. Cows easily viewed. Reserve a farm tour or hayride during the week. Daily 9 a.m.–8 p.m. through Halloween. Weekend hayrides 11a.m.–4 p.m.
Ebert’s Greenhouse Village

Hayrides, pony rides, face and pumpkin painting, children’s story theater, corn maze and animlas. Weekends through October.
The Elegant Farmer

Apple picking, pumpkin patches, tractor-pulled hayrides, a store packed with delicious goodies from traditional fall offerings to the famous “Apple Pie in a Bag.” Daily 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
Green Meadows Petting Farm

Farm experience with pumpkins, petting zoo, cow milking, pony rides and hayrides. Daily through Halloween.
Homestead Animal Farm

Walk the corn maze and visit the animals. Pumpkins, gourds, squash, Indian corn and other fall items. Open for school tours and weekends through Halloween.
Jim’s Pumpkin Farm

Pumpkins, corn maze, Indian corn, hayrides and pick your own pumpkins on weekends. Open daily through Halloween.
Land of the Giants Pumpkin Farm

Pumpkins, corn maze, goats and mini donkeys, barrel train rides. Open daily from 10 a.m. until dark through Halloween.
Meadowbrook Pumpkin Farm

Pick your own pumpkins from the enchanted pumpkin patch, creepy cornfield adventures, petting zoo, wagon rides. Open daily at 10 a.m.
