Celebrate a Milwaukee original: Harley-Davidson
Milwaukee is celebrating 110 years of H-D with activities all around town. A great time to take the kids to the museum, if you haven’t already been. Website
Enjoy a good book with the scenic backdrop of Lake Michigan. Recommend for children ages 3-6.
This fun runs from 9-10 a.m. and you meet by the Lakeshore State Park sign (north end of the park). Then read a story and do a craft based on that book. Website
Hey it’s a Milwaukee thing! Take the family bowling.
Help feed animals and reptiles at the Urban Ecology Center!

On Saturdays from 1-2 p.m. (through December) you can feed the turtles, snakes, fish and more at the Urban Ecology Center. Website
Head to the lakefront for some paddling fun at the lagoon near Veteran’s Park.

Take your train lover on a historic ride!
Historic rail cars travel a 10-mile trip from the depot in East Troy or at The Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago, then meander through the depot museum where kids can be a trolley motorman, discover the joy of model layouts and learn about electricity. Website
Clang, clang, clang goes the trolley! The downtown Milwaukee Trolley Loop time, runs through August 31.
